Welcome to the Tennessee Association of Chiefs of Police website! It is a great honor to serve as the president of such a wonderful association made up of some of the top law enforcement leaders in the nation. As you will see, we are a very active organization with representation on our Board of Directors from across the state of Tennessee.
The TACP directs its resources on several fronts including advocating for legislation that we believe is in the best interest of public safety and the communities we serve, fighting against legislation that we feel will impair the safety of our citizens and law enforcement agencies, providing world class training to our members, promoting and providing an avenue of open communication among law enforcement and leaders across our state, and engaging with representatives of law enforcement and public safety at all levels across Tennessee and nationwide.
