Welcome to the Tennessee Association of Chiefs of Police website. It is my honor to serve as president of the more than 280 municipal and university law enforcement agencies in our great state. It is a position that I take great pride in as we work to increase the accessibility of consistent, accurate and timely information to our members.
The members of the TACP possess a thorough knowledge of law enforcement needs within our state. Through this association, we can address issues that we believe are in the best interest of public safety and the communities we serve. This is accomplished through world class training, working alongside our elected officials and public safety partners, and by ensuring our agencies have the tools and resources available to provide effective public-safety to our citizens.
This is your organization. We welcome your input and participation as we continually strive to improve public safety for all law enforcement agencies across the state.
