Professional Bio
Chief Bobby Sellers began his career with the Milan Police Department in 1988, starting as a dispatcher before completing the Police Academy in 1998. He went on to serve as a patrol officer, detective, and commander before being promoted to Police Chief in February 2014. Committed to lifelong learning, Chief Sellers earned his Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice with Honors from Bethel University in 2020.
Throughout his career, he has completed extensive leadership training, including programs through FBI-LEEDA, the FBI’s National Command Course, and the South Eastern Leadership Academy. He is an active member of the Tennessee Association of Chiefs of Police, the International Association of Chiefs of Police, and the Milan Lions Club.
