Professional Bio
Chief Nichole Mosley became the first female Chief of the McMinnville Police Department in January 2021. A lifelong resident of Warren County, she began her law enforcement career in June 1995 as a patrol officer with the McMinnville Police Department after completing the Tennessee Law Enforcement Training Academy.
In 1996, she was assigned to the Criminal Investigations Division, where she served as a Detective for 11 years before being promoted to Detective Sergeant in 2007. She continued advancing through the ranks, becoming Lieutenant Detective in 2012 and Captain in 2018, overseeing daily operations and supervisory responsibilities throughout her career.
Chief Mosley is a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University with a Bachelor of Science degree and is also a graduate of the FBI National Academy, 256th Session.
