The Tennessee Association of Chief of Police, formed in 1970, is an unincorporated 501(c)(6) non-profit trade association. Its more than 1000 members are made up of active and retired federal, state and local agencies, as well as municipal and county agencies, college and university police departments, and corporate/private security firms. Members also include persons in law enforcement related businesses, support industries or government agencies.
