Organization Overview
SEAS’ Preemployment Psychological Evaluation (PPE) is a specialized evaluation to assess whether job candidates meet the psychological, emotional, and cognitive requirements for all position types, ranging from entry level to high-level security and directors and executives. These may be regulatory, statutory, or employer requirements for suitability for the job. For most employers, the requirements are designed to ensure that the candidate can safely perform the job duties, and they have the capacity to manage the psychological demands of the occupation.
Fitness For Duty Evaluation (FFDE)
SEAS’ Fitness for Duty Evaluation is a specialized assessment that addresses ability to perform job duties should an incident or concern occur. Such incidents may include concerns that the employee is a risk to themselves or someone else, or to the employer’s interests. The FFDE report would address accommodations and treatment recommendations should there be a concern, whether prior to returning to their job duties or concurrent with performing job duties. An FFDE reevaluation may be warranted after the initial to ensure the individual is safe to return to work following implementation of recommendations.
